Zimmerman Vindicated with New Evidence?

There is new evidence being released concerning the George Zimmerman case and to be honest it doesn’t surprise me at all.  The evidence is in the form of a few medical records and they do not paint the deceased in a good light at all.

According to George Zimmerman’s medical records and a medical exam, Zimmerman received a fractured nose, two black eyes, two large lacerations and a minor back injury as a result of the attack on him.  Trayvon Martin presumably carried out this attack and now we can officially say that is it no longer presumably.

Following the autopsy of Trayvon Martin’s body the medical examiner released a few key bits of information.  Most importantly though was that the only trauma to Trayvon Martin’s body was in the form of a single gunshot wound to the chest and injuries to his knuckles that was consistent with striking someone (likely Zimmerman).

Trayvon Martin has cuts and scrapes as well as other injuries to his knuckles that would indicate that he was engaged in a violent fight against someone.  However there is another key piece of information.  Other than the aforementioned injuries, the body of Trayvon Martin showed no signs of trauma.  Nothing that would suggest that George Zimmerman assaulted Trayvon Martin physically.

Zimmerman Got Beat Up

Now what this says to me is that Trayvon Martin handed a beating out to George Zimmerman.  If after reading this new evidence you still have to wonder who is really screaming for their life in the 9-1-1 tapes, you are not looking at this case honestly.   Because of this, I believe this evidence combined with what we already knew paints a very good self-defense picture for George Zimmerman.

This revelation of the medical reports doesn’t surprise me as I said before but it does give me pause and also causes me to point the finger of blame and shame in a few other places.

Zimmerman Has Many Accusers

The biggest “shame on you” award in this case belongs to the special prosecutor and the state attorney’s office without a doubt.  It is now clear to me that they charged George Zimmerman with second-degree murder while they had this information in hand.  Why did they charge Zimmerman with second-degree murder when they knew that he sustained a lot of physical punishment from the suspect yet he obviously didn’t assault the suspect at all?  I frankly find it laughable that they submitted an affidavit and charged Zimmerman without even knowing who started the altercation.  Not to mention the fact that the prosecutor bypassed the grand jury and charged him without it.  Anyone want to wager why they chose to do that?  Why would you make a man fight for his life if you are not even sure you can convince twenty-five random people of your case?

However as disgusted as I am with the prosecutor in this case, the duo of Obama and Holder honestly make me want to uncontrollably vomit when I hear them talk about this case.  Eric “my people” Holder has decided to carry this case like his own personal cross and use words like hate crime to describe it.   It appears to me that the nation’s chief law enforcement officer needs to go back to school on what a hate crime is.  How is this a hate crime when Zimmerman didn’t even know Martin was black?  The Attorney General’s office is not interested in seeing justice done; they are interested in seeing their version of justice done.

I also see Barack Obama as being blatantly irresponsible and one sided in this.  That is to say that he is in this at all.  My real question is why is the president involved in a murder/ self defense case at all?  The president involving himself in this and doing so in a fashion that promotes one side or the other shows that he has little respect for our judicial system and even less for the parties involved.

Finally in my crosshairs is the media.  The mainstream media has abandoned this story because it is not adding up to what they want it to.   The media thought they were going to be able to jump on this story and it was going to be the latest story of racial hatred and violence.  Too bad this is turning out to be a guy who defended his life from a scumbag looking to beat him to death.  It didn’t deter the media though from changing and outright lying about facts of the case to help their narrative become a reality.  So in my opinion they have really become the bad guy in this case, a media who will change things to ruin a man’s reputation but then will ignore the evidence that practically exonerates him.

In closing my hopes for this case are that once the dust settles George Zimmerman will be able to have a normal life and that heads will roll at the state and federal level for what is going on here.  This is an obvious miscarriage of justice and an abuse of power by a government hell bent on bowing to political and public pressure.

The little bit of background I was able to get on the story goes like this.  This young soldier who has been described as being in his early twenties has yet to be named.  His vehicle broke down on his way home and so he decided to walk the rest of the way and I would assume phone a tow truck from his home.  While he is walking he takes notice of a group of three men in front of him and one behind him.  One of the men in front of him doubled back to ask him if he had a dollar.

The soldier who was going to give the suspect a dollar reached for his wallet and it was at that time that the initial suspect struck him in the face.  At that point the other three men rush the victim and the four suspect began to kick, stomp and punch the soldier while he attempted to get away.  The soldier didn’t make it too far before he could no longer move and was continuous and viscously stomped over and over again.  Eventually the beating subsided and the four men took his wallet and cell phone.  When the young soldier was able to regain his balance he went to several homes trying to get help.  When someone finally answered their door the homeowner helped him until rescue units could arrive.

The one thing the assailants didn’t count on was that this brutal and cowardly attack was recorded in its entirety by a private security camera placed at a nearby home.

This kind of brutality is not surprising unfortunately as I have been somewhat desensitized by the events of the past year.  There are literally stories every week of white victims being beaten severely in the streets by gangs of young black men.

These stories are everywhere except the media.  Here are just a few: Two young black men beat a 50 year old man with a hammer on April 2nd, a gang of six black youths beat a 78 year old white man named Dallas Watts in Ohio in early April  and the story of Edward Schaefer who was a 64 year old veteran who was beaten almost to death by six black males.  These are just a few, but please feel free to Google search and view the countless stories of horrific violence just from this year.

What particularly irritates me is that none of these stories make the national news.  No one refers to these crimes as racially motivated.  However, when it comes to Trayvon Martin or Oscar Grant, those are crimes of extreme racial hatred and bigotry.  It is ridiculous how our society has allowed us to give a pass to these violent and barbaric youths that seek to terrorize America citizens.

Why haven’t I heard Eric “my people” Holder mention one of these cases in regards to his hate crimes crusade?

Can anyone imagine the outcry if there was a rash of white males attacking black citizens?  It would be front-page news every single day.  It makes me sick the double standard that has become the trend in America and the news media.  Everyone cries for Trayvon Martin and his racial injustice, who cries for these people?  Do their sufferings not equally matter?

This young soldier is also someone’s child, brother and grandson.  But I guess he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.  My only hope for America is that one day we will have the courage to look at all things equal and not political.  One day I pray that we will have a society where we can all stand together against these violent and barbaric people regardless of their color or ours.  But until that day, I will keep my handgun permit up to date.

Just my two cents on how hate crimes have become a joke in America.

The American Victory provides a history lesson of the environment those in the merchant marine experienced while dodging enemy submarines to deliver cargo during World War II. It carried troops and equipment in the Korean War and supplied U.S. soldiers in Vietnam before being decommissioned in 1969. Navy gunners served on the ship because civilians were not permitted to operate the weapons.

The security training that’s scheduled for four days next week will involve finding two explosive devices, one hidden in the interior and one on the outside of the ship, to hone operations for the RNC that’s taking place on the waterfront.

Do we really want a president who is still “evolving?”  Let me be honest, I want a president who knows what he or she believes and one I can count on to still believe the same thing even after they have received my vote.  What evolving really means in this liberal “holier than thou” mentality is that I lied and now I am planning on lying again in order to secure more votes and funding.

When we look at this miraculous evolution that President Obama has undergone we should be reminded that this isn’t the first time our president has “evolved.”  During the final nights of debate on Obamacare several Democrats on Capitol Hill were not going to vote for the plan, citing their concerns of state sponsored abortions.  The spokesman of this group was Congressman Stupak.  President Obama promised to not allow state funded abortion in order to secure the votes of these renegade Democrats, but shortly after Obamacare passed, President Obama underwent an evolution and now we will be seeing state sponsored infanticide very soon.

The President has also evolved in matters of foreign policy as well.  Remember when President Obama called out President Bush for invading Iraq and involving us where we didn’t need to be?  Well, shortly afterwards, President Obama again evolved and engaged in a very aggressive air campaign against Libya and then again involved the United States in Egyptian affairs as well.  The President has also evolved on the GITMO issue too I suppose since now almost four years later this “evil” place that President Obama swore to shut down is still open and filling vacancies.  Not that I have a problem with GITMO staying open, as I believe we need a dark hole in which to place these ruthless jihadists but it does seem that President Obama evolved into thinking that a very Bush-like foreign policy was the answer.  This evolution took place conveniently after President Obama grabbed the votes of the anti-war crowd.

The most glaring evolution however has got to be this gay marriage sham.  In 1996, the then state senate candidate Obama gave his unequivocal support to gay marriage and the cause of “equality” for homosexuals; saying, “I favor legalizing same-sex marriages, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages.”

However, when Barack Obama made his way to the national stage in 2008 during his presidential campaign, he sang a very different tune. While speaking to Saddleback Church in California he was quoted as saying, “I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. For me, as a Christian, it is also a sacred union.”  It didn’t stop there, President Obama was also quoted by MTV News as saying, “I’ve stated my opposition to this. I think it’s unnecessary, I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage.”

Just three years after that speech to Saddleback Church, President Obama has now evolved yet again on this issue and returns back to square one and is now supporting gay marriage.  Stating to ABC News in a candid interview that, “I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married.”  So the question I have is this.  Has the President really evolved?  I was of the impression that evolution was about moving forward from your ideas and beliefs not returning to them.  In fact I could make the case that the President is in fact regressing to an earlier belief, which is the exact opposite of evolution.

So does anyone really believe that a career politician is still evolving at this late stage of the game?  The President is getting on to his later years in life and much like any of us mere mortals, the older people get the less likely it is that they changes their views on life.  So what is the real reason for this “evolution?” That’s and easy one, money and votes.

Why is Obama Evolving?

Shortly after this impromptu interview with the President, his campaign released a new campaign ad slamming Republican challenger Mitt Romney on his stance on same sex marriage.  It also goes on to paint the President as a champion of gay marriage and gay rights.  However not four years ago the President is on the record in many places as opposing this very issue.  Also to coincide with this campaign ad, President Obama is scheduled to hold a fundraiser for his 2012 campaign at the home of Hollywood actor George Clooney.  This fundraiser is expected to be the highest grossing moneymaker in history and is expected to attract many of the Hollywood elites that are also very pro gay marriage.

The final thing I want to leave you with to think about is this.  If the President is so quick to evolve and devolve on this issue of gay marriage as well as the other policies that we discussed here, why wont he evolve on anything else?  What is stopping Barack Obama from evolving on the second amendment, partial birth abortion or foreign policy and the support of our allies abroad?

The problem here is that we have a President who doesn’t even know what he believes.  Am I the only one who sees how dangerous of a situation this is?  After to speaking with a few colleagues on this issue one of them mentioned that Barack Obama is making Mitt Romney look like the rock of Gibraltar.  The scary thing is it’s true.

Bin Laden’s terrorist empire spent its infancy deep in the cold war. Bin Laden was not your standard run of the mill terrorist either. Bin Laden was born into wealth and privilege in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His father Mohammed Bin Laden was a wealthy construction mogul and had very close ties to the Saudi Royal Family.

 

Bin Laden History

In the late 1970’s Bin Laden left his life of luxury to pursue a more just cause in his eyes. He went to Pakistan and began to work with Pakistan’s Interservice Intelligence agency or ISI. During this time the ISI was funneling money and fighters into Afghanistan to fight the Soviet invasion, these fighters are know today as the infamous Mujahideen.

Bin Laden teamed up with a well-known Palestinian cleric and the head of the ISI to create an organization to train, equip and ferry fighters from around the Arab world to the front lines in Afghanistan. Most of this was made possible through the wealth of the Bin Laden family.

During this time Bin Laden rose to fame and power and became both the polarized and idolized figure that he was at the time of his death.

In 1990 Bin Laden had a public falling out with his home country and the West when Saddam Hussein invaded the tiny country of Kuwait. The Saudi Royal Family became increasingly worried that Hussein would not stop at Kuwait and would invade the Kingdom; Bin Laden approached the King and insisted his Mujahideed militants could defend the boundaries of the Kingdom. His offer was rejected and instead King Fahd called on the support of the United States.

Bin Laden was outraged and went on to show his disgust that infidels were charged with protecting the two holiest cities in Islam, Mecca and Medina. After this unforgivable insult Bin Laden turned his aggression toward the West. In 1990, the FBI raided a small house in New Jersey that was owned by an Al Qaeda operative. Inside they found plans for terrorist attacks and various other forms of intelligence. This would mark the first time Al Qaeda was working outside the Middle East.

Shortly after this Bin Laden was banished from his home country for continuing to speak out against the royal family. He fled to Sudan where he lived for many years planning and carrying out terrorist attacks across the globe.

In 1996 he was expelled from Sudan and left for Afghanistan. Once safely in Afghanistan, Bin Laden declared war on the United States. Although Bin Laden was watched by the United States and was managed to escape death several times, he was not regarded as a serious threat. This all changed on September 11, 2001.

In the early days of the war in Afghanistan Bin Laden was able to slip away from Special Forces teams sent in to capture or kill him. Bin Laden would avoid capture and be the most wanted man in the world for almost a decade. However on May 2, 2011, just short of ten years to the day, he was killed in his home during a daring night raid just over the border in Pakistan.

American’s celebrated jubilantly as news of his death was relayed by the United States Government. At the same time Arabs across the Middle East mourned the death of a man who had become a legend. From the mountains of Pakistan in 1979 and his death there in 2011, Bin Laden was the stuff extremist legends were made of.

Future Bin Laden Problems

Which brings me to my final point. No doubt Bin Laden was evil and got what he had coming to him. The question is, did this end the age of Islamic terrorism? Many have used this argument in the last year as an excuse to cut and run for our long-winded wars in the Middle East.

I for one disagree. Al Qaeda may not be what they once were but we are a long way from severing the head of the snake. Many make the mistake of believing that Bin Laden was the head and with his death terrorist are now discouraged from taking up the cause. It is, in fact, the exact opposite; they now have more to fight for than ever, their martyr Osama Bin Laden.

Just a little over two months ago Al Qaeda’s new leader Ayman al-Zawahri announced to the world with “glad tidings” that the well known Somali terror group Al Shabab has now formally joined Al Qaeda.

In the past years both before and now after the death of Bin Laden Al-Shabab has been recruiting American citizens to the organization and training them to be suicide bombers. The first being Shirwa Ahmed, he was from Minnesota and killed himself and twenty-nine others when he detonated a suicide vest. He is regarded as the first American suicide bomber in our history.

Al-Shabab is in it’s infancy as far as terrorist groups go and now that they are officially aligned with Al Qaeda we cannot allow them to fly under the radar as Al Qaeda did for so many years.

So on this week of remembrance and celebration I also recommend vigilance and caution for the things to come.

April Unemployment Numbers

Unemployment numbers went from 8.2 percent in March to just 8.1 percent in April. Now unemployment numbers do not include people not looking for jobs.

The percentage of adults working or looking for work has fallen to its lowest level in more than 30 years. Many have become discouraged about their prospects.
