On Monday I was able to sit down with Massachusetts State Representative Dan Winslow. Representative Winslow has introduced a Collective Bargaining bill in Massachusetts.

As the Union rallies in Wisconsin heat up, more legislators in states across the nation are presenting their own versions of anti-Collective Bargaining bills.
In the very liberal state of Massachusetts, representative Dan Winslow of Norfolk has introduced House Bill 2492.
Some key points of the bill are that Public Sector management will not be able to enter into collective bargaining agreements regarding overtime pay, the hiring of part time workers or the inclusion of adjustable rate cost of living expenses.
Representative Winslow prefers to think of his bill as a “Management Rights” bill because it places limits on the management of public sector employees.
